Job summary

Ascension is hiring a CT technologist in Carmel, IN, to support advanced imaging procedures in the CT department. You will position patients, set anatomical and technical parameters, and ensure radiation safety.

Responsibilities include preparing and assisting with procedures, managing contrast media, and supporting physicians. Requires BLS within 1 month and multiple radiology credentials within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or transfer date required (American Heart Association/Red Cross accepted).
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program within 6 months of hire date.
• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from CCI within 6 months of hire date.
• ARRT radiologic technologist credential in radiography within 6 months of hire date.
• ARDMS medical sonographer credential within 6 months of hire date.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• CT and X-Ray experience
