Job summary

IDC Engineering India is seeking a technically skilled engineer to support the US-based product team. You will contribute to the design, development and virtual validation of mechanical systems through simulation models, focusing on engine components and their performance.

Responsibilities include validating structural integrity via multi-body dynamics simulations, and using both commercial and in-house tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-body dynamics simulations to assess engine system performance.
• Proficiency in automating simulation workflows using Python and VB.
• Strong fundamentals in dynamic analysis of structures and durability assessment.

Responsibilities

• Support US product team in design, development and virtual validation of mechanical systems through simulation models.
• Validate structural integrity and life of engine systems via multi-body dynamics simulations to define optimum designs.
• Utilize commercial and in-house software and processes to deliver results on time and to quality standards.
• Apply Python and VB to automate simulation processes and improve workflow efficiency.
• Ensure quality, timeliness and process compliance across simulations.

Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for supporting the US based Product team in design, development and virtual validation of mechanical system performance through simulation models
• Will be responsible for validating the structural integrity and life of various engine systems by performing multi-Body Dynamics simulations to define the optimum design solution.
• This will be achieved through the use of commercial and in-house developed software and processes.
• Skills on Automation of simulation processes using Python and Visual Basic (VB) coding are desired.
• Strong fundamentals of dynamic analysis of structures are desired. Ensuring quality, on time delivery, processes compliance
