Job summary

Capgemini Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Model-Based Development (MBD) Engineer focused on Battery Management Systems and BEV/HEV powertrain applications. You will drive end-to-end MBD activities from model creation to validation using MIL/SIL/HIL and auto code generation.

Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Python and MathWorks/SCADE, with a strong grasp of embedded automotive systems and functional safety, is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experienced in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Python and MathWorks/SCADE for BMS and BEV/HEV powertrain development and validation.
• Proficient in MIL/SIL/HIL testing, model-based development lifecycle, and code generation for automotive embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of electric vehicle architectures, functional safety, and control algorithm development.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Model-Based Development activities for BMS and EV powertrain projects.
• Perform MIL/SIL/HIL testing, requirements-based development, and model verification/validation.
• Utilize Simulink Test Manager and TPT for automated testing workflows.
