Job summary

LG Electronics in Noida, India seeks a passionate MBD Engineer to perform multibody dynamics simulations for advanced home appliances. You will develop MBD models, run simulations, and optimize designs to enhance performance and reliability.

The role requires hands-on CAD capability (NX/Unigraphics) and experience with pre-processing tools. Collaboration with global teams is essential for data-driven engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of engineering basics, mechanisms, kinematics and dynamics.
• Hands-on experience in multibody dynamics simulation using RecurDyn (preferred), ADAMS, or MotionSolve.
• Solid understanding of rigid body mechanics, kinematics and dynamics.
• Experience with HyperMesh or equivalent pre-processing tools is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of spring-damper systems and gear dynamics simulation.
• Familiarity with NTF, VTF, Modal Analysis, FRA, and Dynamic Stiffness Analysis.
• Application of Six Sigma tools in product and technology development.
• CAD modelling proficiency – NX / Unigraphics preferred.
• Experience in automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Awareness of latest tools, technologies, and industry trends.
• Strong communication skills.
• Korean language proficiency is an added advantage.
• Domain expertise in home appliances is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop MBD models and perform multibody simulation using RecurDyn for refrigerator and water purifier products.
• Conduct design iterations and optimization studies to meet targets.
• Create 3D CAD for simple parts and CAD simplification using NX.
• Perform multibody simulations with flexible (Modal/FEM) components.
• Verify results with hand calculations and correlate CAE with test data.
• Develop standard operating procedures for new and updated processes.
• Provide innovative design solutions addressing customer pain points.

About The Job

We are seeking a passionate and self-driven CAE Engineer to perform Multibody Dynamics (MBD) simulations and analyze complex mechanical systems for innovative home appliance products.

Leverage advanced CAE tools, CAD modeling, and dynamic analysis techniques to optimize product performance, reliability, and design efficiency. Collaborate with global engineering teams to drive technology development, process automation, and data-driven engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop MBD models and Perform Multibody Simulation using Recurdyn Tool for Refrigerator and Water Purifier Products.


• Perform design Iterations and Optimization studies to identify possible design solutions to meet set targets


• Should be able to do 3D CAD of simple parts and CAD Simplification using NX CAD


• Mutibody simulation with Flexible [Modal Flex / FEM Flex] components


• Need to verify the results using hand calculation and Corelate CAE outcomes with Test Data


• Develop Standard Operating Procedure – New / Update


• Innovative thinking in providing design solutions, solving customer pain points

Requirements
