Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation seeks a Software Engineer (MTS III) to build a cloud-based platform for media assets, focusing on multimedia systems, streaming, and secure content delivery. You will work with Python or Go, APIs, microservices, and AI-assisted development in a cloud-native environment.

The role emphasizes production-grade software, modern SDLC practices, and hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust deployment and observability.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or Go for production-grade apps.
• Strong fundamentals and production-grade application experience.
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, databases, distributed systems and architecture.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Hands-on with AI/LLM tools for software development.
• Experience using AI for coding, debugging, refactoring, documentation, testing and code review.
• Ability to validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance and maintainability.
• Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents and tool calling.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Kilo Code.
• Experience with AWS services including EKS/ECS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, Bedrock.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and automated software delivery.
• Experience deploying, logging, monitoring, observability and production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
