Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an MST - B license holder for an on-site Electrical Maintenance role in Chennai. The candidate will supervise daily electrical and technical maintenance, coordinate shifts, and ensure safe operation of LT panels, MCC, DBs, DG, UPS, and motors.

Ideal candidates have 3-7 years of experience in facility or building maintenance, with a strong focus on preventive and breakdown maintenance and vendor coordination.ITI/Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 3-7 years experience in electrical maintenance and facility management.
• Experience with building/ commercial facilities or industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day electrical and technical maintenance activities.
• Lead and coordinate Technicians and Operators during shifts.
• Monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of LT panels, MCC, DBs, motors, DG, UPS, and other electrical equipment.
• Attend electrical breakdowns and coordinate timely troubleshooting.
• Plan manpower deployment and monitor attendance and work allocation.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and ensure maintenance standards are followed.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for technical maintenance activities.
• Maintain daily maintenance reports, checklists, logbooks, and breakdown records.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and statutory requirements.
• Support emergency response and ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams for technical requirements.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained in technical areas.
