Job summary

MRf in Chennai invites MSc Chemistry graduates to join the R&D team focused on chemical analysis, characterization of raw materials, rubber compounds, and tyre-related materials. You will support product development and contribute to R&D initiatives in a technically advanced environment.

The role involves conducting analyses, performing tests, and preparing technical reports, with opportunities to work across R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to drive material evaluation and performance

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Chemistry with strong fundamentals in organic/analytical/polymer chemistry are preferred.
• Knowledge of chemical analysis, instrumental techniques and laboratory practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical analysis and characterization of raw materials, rubber compounds, and related materials.
• Perform laboratory testing and evaluation as per established test methods and procedures.
• Support analysis of rubber chemicals, additives, polymers, and other R&D materials.
• Interpret test results and prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Support R&D projects related to material evaluation, product development, and performance improvement.
• Assist in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of material and product-related issues.
• Maintain laboratory records, test data, and documentation.
• Work closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and other technical teams.
