Prolifics Corporation Limited in India is hiring an experienced MQ Admin - Lead to join the development center in Hyderabad. The role requires leading MQ support teams, handling IBM MQ 9.x and production support across Linux and Windows, and driving upgrades, migrations, and security.

The successful candidate will mentor a team, ensure high availability, SLA adherence, and collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams on project delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Lead IBM MQ with expertise in MQ 9.x, MQIPT, Java/JMS integration, SSL/TLS security, installation, migration, upgrades, and production support across Linux and Windows

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, upgrade, and migrate IBM MQ Queue Managers on Linux and Windows servers
• Lead MQ version upgrades, server migrations, queue manager migrations, and DR activities
• Configure and support MQIPT, MQ Clusters, HA/DR solutions, and Multi-Instance Queue Managers
• Manage SSL/TLS security, certificate lifecycle, CHLAUTH rules, and MQ authorization
• Support Java/JMS applications, JMS Connection Factories, client connectivity
• Proactive monitoring, health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot MQ channels, listeners, queues, clustering, SSL/TLS, networking, and application connectivity issues
• Handle P1/P2 incidents, RCA, and change implementation
• Administer Linux and Windows OS, including service management, file systems, security, and scripting
• Automate routine tasks using Shell, PowerShell, and scripting tools
• Lead and mentor MQ support teams, ensure SLA compliance
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and network teams for delivery
• Maintain installation guides, migration runbooks, SOPs, DR docs
• Lead, mentor, and support a team from junior to senior levels
• Delegate tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery

Experienced IBM MQ Lead with expertise in IBM MQ 9.x administration, MQIPT, Java/JMS integration, SSL/TLS security, installation, migration, upgrades, and production support across both Linux and Windows platforms. Responsible for leading MQ support teams, managing enterprise messaging infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and successful delivery of migration and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, administer, upgrade, and migrate IBM MQ Queue Managers on Linux and Windows servers.
• Lead IBM MQ version upgrades, server migrations, queue manager migrations, and DR activities.
• Configure and support MQIPT, MQ Clusters, HA/DR solutions, and Multi-Instance Queue Managers.
• Manage SSL/TLS security, certificate lifecycle management, CHLAUTH rules, and MQ authorization.
