Job summary

ACS Door Hardware Pvt Ltd in Gurugram is seeking a mold design engineer specializing in zinc and aluminium die cast products. You will own full 3D mold design, from customer specs to manufacturing drawings, and drive concept development for gating, cooling and ejection systems.

You will coordinate with tool rooms and vendors to ensure timely, quality mould production and continuous design improvements. Ideal candidates have strong communication, ability to work independently and in teams, and

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full 3D mold designs meeting customer specs and standards.
• Prepare 3D mold assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Develop mold concepts including gating, cooling, ejection, and slider/lifter mechanisms.
• Coordinate mould flow analysis if required and create BOMs and manufacturing docs.
• Coordinate with tool room and vendors during mould manufacture and assembly.
• Conduct design reviews and implement improvements and changes.
• Support mould trials, troubleshooting, and engineering changes.
• Maintain design records and revision control.
• Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop full 3D mold designs in accordance with customer specifications and standards.
• Prepare 3D mould assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Develop mould concepts including gating, cooling, ejection, and slider/lifter mechanisms.
• Perform mould flow analysis coordination (if required).
• Create BOM (Bill of Materials) and manufacturing documentation.
• Coordinate with tool room and vendors during mould manufacturing and assembly.
• Conduct design reviews and implement design improvements.
• Support mould trials, troubleshooting, and engineering changes.
• Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Maintain design records and revision control.
• Extensive experience designing ZINC and ALUMINIUM DIE CAST products.
