Job summary

Jyoti World in Mumbai seeks a Mold & Product Design Engineer responsible for end-to-end design, including concept creation, 2D/3D modeling, DFM, and material selection. You will manage drawings, BOMs, mold costing, and support reverse engineering and design reviews.

Role requires knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, stack tolerances, and collaboration across teams to ensure timely execution. The position is based at Malad (W), Mumbai, with a focus on plastic moulds.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in plastic moulds from CIPET/NTTF.
• Knowledge of mold design and mold costing.
• Familiarity with 2D/3D drawing practices and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end product and mold design, including concept creation, 2D/3D modeling, DFM, and plastic material selection.
• Prepare and manage drawings, BOMs, mold costing; support reverse engineering, design reviews and outsourcing data.
• Ensure optimized mold design, ECN/ECR processes, and cross-functional coordination for timely execution.

Job Role/Responsibilities:

mold costing, and supports reverse engineering, design reviews, and outsourcing data.
Ensures optimized mold design, engineering change control (ECR/ECN), and cross
functional coordination for timely execution.
