YASH Technologies seeks an experienced Embedded Software Developer specializing in Zephyr RTOS and BIOS. You will design, develop, and maintain firmware for industrial and embedded systems, focusing on secure boot, cryptography, and real-time performance.

The role requires 6–10 years of hands-on experience in embedded software, with proficiency in C/C++, PLCs, and low-level drivers. You will collaborate across hardware, firmware, and software teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Competenze

• Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical Eng, CS or Embedded Systems.
• Strong RTOS and embedded software development background.
• Experience with security features in firmware is desirable.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer – Zephyr RTOS / BIOS to design, develop, and maintain BIOS and embedded software solutions built on the Zephyr Real-Time Operating System (RTOS). The role involves implementing new features, resolving defects and security vulnerabilities, and delivering secure, high-performance firmware for next-generation embedded and industrial control products.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain BIOS and embedded software solutions using Zephyr RTOS.
Design, implement, and enhance software features while addressing defects and security vulnerabilities.
Develop embedded applications using C/C++ for real-time and resource-constrained environments.
Work on PLC programming and integration with embedded control systems.
Develop and maintain low-level software components, device drivers, and board support packages (BSPs).
Implement secure firmware capabilities, including Secure Boot, cryptographic functions, and security remediation measures.
Integrate and troubleshoot communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet, and related industrial networking technologies.
Support automated build, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD and version control systems.
Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and system validation activities.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience implementing cybersecurity features and secure software development practices.
Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC 62443, EN 18031, and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) is desirable.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development workflows.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
