Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in India seeks a security engineer to design and develop security mechanisms for automotive platforms such as AUTOSAR, QNX, Android and Linux.

You will apply MISRA/CERT secure coding practices, implement crypto solutions (AES/RSA/ECC, PKI), work with HSM/TEE, and perform threat modelling to reinforce cockpit cybersecurity.

This role involves hands-on cryptographic work and collaboration with hardware teams to secure key storage and cryptographic operations.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with automotive security design and secure coding practices.
• Experience implementing cryptographic primitives and secure key storage in embedded environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and threat modelling is a plus.

Job description

1. 1. Design & Development of Security Mechanisms in AUTOSAR/QNX/Android/Linux Environment.
2. 2. Knowledge of cockpit cybersecurity mechanisms including secure boot, secure flashing, secure diagnostics, access control, secure compiler usage, and firewalls.
3. 3. HSM / TEE concepts, secure key storage, and hardware based cryptographic operations.
4. 4. Proficiency in secure coding practices (MISRA, CERT) and secure development principles in C/C++. Additionally, (Python, Gen AI, G-HUB)
5. 5 Hardware security integration - Support integration and use of HSM / TEE for secure key storage and cryptographic operations within the CIP.
6. ? 6 Cryptography application - Apply cryptographic principles and technologies (AES, RSA, ECC, hashing, digital signatures, PKI)

Good to Have Skills:

• 1. Cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155, RED-DA EN 18031).
• 2. Configuration of AUTOSAR Modules like SUM_SSC, CryIf, CSM and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE)
• 3. Solid understanding of cryptographic concepts: AES, RSA, ECC, hashing (SHA/HMAC), digital signatures, PKI, and CIA principles
• 4. Perform threat modelling, risk assessment, and vulnerability analysis for automotive systems
