Job summary

Cerebra in Bengaluru is looking for an embedded software engineer to design and secure automotive platform software using C/C++. The role emphasizes secure time management services and platform security features for automotive systems.

You will work across Android Automotive and QNX, implementing Secure Boot and TEEs, conducting security reviews, and supporting testing and compliance efforts within a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded automotive software development using C/C++.
• Knowledge of security standards and cryptography basics.
• Familiarity with Android Automotive or QNX platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure platform software using C/C++.
• Develop and maintain Secure Time Manager, RTC Manager, Timezone Management, and Time Synchronization services.
• Integrate security services across Android Automotive and QNX platforms.
• Implement Secure Boot, Secure Time Validation, Time Tampering Detection, Cryptographic Services, and Trusted Execution Environment capabilities.
• Implement cybersecurity controls for automotive platforms.
• Support Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment (TARA) activities.
• Participate in architecture, code, and security reviews.
• Investigate and resolve cybersecurity vulnerabilities and field issues.
• Support penetration testing and cybersecurity compliance activities.
• Develop unit, integration, and security test cases.
