Motherson Technology Services Limited in Coimbatore, India, is seeking a security-focused engineer to design and develop security mechanisms for automotive OS environments (AUTOSAR, QNX, Android, Linux).
The role covers cockpit cybersecurity, hardware security modules, secure key storage, secure coding practices (MISRA, CERT), and collaboration across secure development and testing workflows.
Experience with cryptography, threat modelling, and compliance with ISO/SAE 21434 is beneficial.
Role & responsibilities :
1. Design & Development of Security Mechanisms in AUTOSAR/QNX/Android/Linux Environment.
2. Knowledge of cockpit cybersecurity mechanisms including secure boot, secure flashing, secure diagnostics, access control, secure compiler usage, and firewalls.
3. HSM / TEE concepts, secure key storage, and hardware based cryptographic operations.
4. Proficiency in secure coding practices (MISRA, CERT) and secure development principles in C/C++. Additionally, (Python, Gen AI, G-HUB)
Good to Have :
1. Cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155, RED-DA EN 18031).
2. Configuration of AUTOSAR Modules like SUM_SSC, CryIf, CSM and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE)
3. Familiarity with security testing concepts such as SAST, DAST, fuzz testing, penetration testing, and CI/CD security integration.
4. Solid understanding of cryptographic concepts: AES, RSA, ECC, hashing (SHA/HMAC), digital signatures, PKI, and CIA principles
5. Perform threat modelling, risk assessment, and vulnerability analysis for automotive systems.
