Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a senior software product owner for the electric powertrain ECU software. You will lead development and testing collaboration with module teams, and establish ASPICE-aligned base practices across the lifecycle.

The role drives transformation to standardize software delivery, quality KPIs, and end-to-end orchestration from requirements to delivery. The ideal candidate will bring deep embedded software experience, AUTOSAR expertise, and strong project

Qualifications

• Proficient in embedded software development with model-based approaches.
• Strong understanding of AUTOSAR and software architecture.
• Experience with ASPICE-based processes and lifecycle models.
• Knowledge of FuSa and cybersecurity within automotive software.
• Project management experience and stakeholder coordination are essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as product owner for all software for electric powertrain ECUs and enable development/testing via module teams.
• Establish base practices per software development lifecycle such as ASPICE.
• Drive software delivery transformation and standardize development/testing practices and tools.
• Ensure end-to-end orchestration from requirements to delivery with cross-team coordination.
• Create management summaries and report progress to senior management regularly.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as product owner for all software for electric powertrain ECUs ,enable development and testing by technical collaboration with module teams
• Establish base practices as per software development lifecycle such as ASPICE
• Drive software delivery transformation, executing the standardization of software development and testing practices, processes, tools while ensuring full end to end orchestration of software lifecycle from requirements to delivery
• Ensure software delivery by close coordination with development and testing teams. Enable team members to individually handle activities project wise
• Ensuring quality of delivery by establishing KPIs and guiding teams to adhere to same. Continuous improvement in engineering quality, efficiency and predictability
• Create management summary project wise, presenting to senior management on periodic basis

Skills

• Sound knowledge on embedded software development, model based software development
• Deep understanding of software architecture and Autosar, test strategies
• Good understanding of system EE architecture definition, V-cycle product development for electric powertrain
• Good understanding of automotive software development process, ASPICE, FuSa, cybersecurity
• Project management experience is a must, e.g. Certifications like PMP
• Stakeholder collaboration within and outside of product development teams
• Project and deliverable tracking, project management and systematic task management experience
