Job summary

HELLA India Automotive Pvt Ltd. is seeking a technically lead software engineer to drive SW development in power electronics. The role involves planning and tracking projects, collaborating with hardware and systems teams, and ensuring ASPICE/MISRA quality standards are met.

You will review requirements in DOORS, support customer interactions, and provide effort estimates while maintaining schedules. Fluency in English is required, and a BE/B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics is expected.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electronics/EC
• 5-7 years of experience in Automotive industry
• Strong communication in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Lead SW development in Power Electronics products (DC/DC Converter, Power Backup Modules, OnBoard Charger).
• Plan, track and report SW project activities and milestones.
• Coordinate with cross-domain HW, SYS and Testing teams; monitor KPIs and quality work products (ASPICE and MISRA).
• Participate in customer meetings; DOORS reviews; risk analysis and effort estimation.

Your Tasks

• Technically Lead SW development in Power Electronics products (DC/DC Converter, Power Backup Modules, OnBoard Charger etc). Debug and Review SW development changes.
• Planning, tracking, reporting of SW-Project activities and Milestones.
• Acquisition support for customers - Collaboration with cross domains HW, SYS, Testing.
• Monitor KPIs for Quality SW work products and deliverables (Requirements, Architecture) – Strong Knowhow for ASPICE and quality processes.
• Risk analysis and countermeasures definition, Budget tracking, status reporting. Provide effort estimation based on requested changes.
• Function safety alignments and work products in projects.
• Customer and System requirement specification reviews in DOORS. Participation in customer meetings: Customer Issues logging and coordination with SW teams and reporting.
• Programming Languages: Embedded C (strong)
• Tools: MS Project, MS Office, IDE, Debuggers, CAN interfaces
• Standards: ASPICE, V-model
• Configuration/Change Management: GitLab or PTC Integrity (good)
• Requirement management: DOORS
• Standards: AUTOSAR(Basic), MISRA Guidelines, V-model, ISO14229(UDS) - Basic

Your Qualifications

• BE /B. Tech/ M.E/ M. Tech in Electronics/Electronics & Communication
• 5-7 Years of experience in Automotive Industry
• Good in Communication
• English, both written and spoken.
