Qualifications

• Proficient in Tekla Structures software (latest version).
• Able to read and understand client design drawings and standards.
• Knowledge of design codes such as BS 5950, Eurocode, AISC.
• Able to read design calculations and connection marking plans.
• Take complete responsibility for ensuring final quality output.
• Self-motivated and willing to take additional responsibilities as per project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Must be experienced in Preparation and checking of MTO models in Tekla structures and performing completeness checks.
• Hands-on experience in typical connections and mass connection applications.
• Generation of technical queries and administration of same is preferred.
• Must have working ability in preparation and checking of fabrication drawings for all types of main structural members of all types of structures.
• Must be able to prepare and check GA and marking plans for all types of structures.
• Modeling and editing of miscellaneous items like handrails, stairs, safety gates & ladders and generating reports for cold rolled sections is mandatory.
• Interpretation, checking and incorporation of sub-trades details (e.g. flooring, decking, cladding) into relevant models is desired.
• Coordination and administration of smaller contracts whenever necessary.
