Job summary

Idexcel in Vadodara is seeking a TEKLA Modeler & Detailer with 5+ years of experience to model and detail steel structures using Tekla. The role requires a BE/BTech or Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and a strong ability to read structural and architectural drawings.

You will prepare GA and erection drawings, fabrication drawings, and Tekla reports, check clashes, and coordinate with client engineers to resolve design discrepancies. The position is based in Vadodara.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 5+ Years of Experience in TEKLA Modelling & Detailing of Steel Structures & checking clashes.
• Strong knowledge on steel connections, fabrication processes, and erection sequences.
• Proficiency in reading Structural & Architectural Drawings.
• Preparation and checking of GA drawings & Erection Drawings.
• Preparation and checking of Fabrication Drawings - Part & Assembly Drawings.
• Preparation of TEKLA Reports (Assembly list, Bolt List, Part discrete list, etc).
• Ability to generate all kind of reports (NC File), MTO's and BOM.
• Coordination with Internal Technical SPOC / Client Engineers to fix any design discrepancies by raising RFI's.
• Uploading of Tekla model, Final drawings in PDF Format and Tekla Deliverables on FTP server.
• Exposure to other design software like AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of Structural Steel Design principles and standards.

Responsibilities

• Model and detail using TEKLA for steel structures.
• Generate GA drawings and erection drawings with accuracy.
• Prepare fabrication drawings - Part & Assembly Drawings.
• Create TEKLA reports and BOMs as required.
• Coordinate with client engineers to resolve design discrepancies via RFIs.
• Upload Tekla deliverables to FTP server and maintain documentation.
