Qualifications

- Strong MATLAB/Simulink Model-Based Development expertise.
- Experience with code generation tools Embedded Coder and TargetLink.
- Strong C programming skills for embedded systems.
- Knowledge of MISRA C, AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and ASPICE.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating application software using Model-Based Development (MBD) methodologies for automotive embedded systems. The role involves working closely with system architects, controls engineers, software developers, and validation teams to deliver high-quality software solutions for EV applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop automotive embedded application software using MATLAB/Simulink and Model-Based Development methodologies.
- Design and implement control algorithms for Electric Vehicle subsystems such as:
- Battery Management System (BMS)
- Vehicle Control Unit (VCU)
- Motor Control
- Charging Systems
- Energy Management Functions
- Thermal Management Systems
- Generate production code using tools such as Embedded Coder/TargetLink.
- Perform model reviews, static analysis, model compliance checks, and software quality assessments.
- Develop software requirements, detailed designs, and traceability according to Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety standards.
- Support software integration on target ECUs and troubleshooting during vehicle/system testing.
- Create and maintain MIL, SIL, and HIL test environments.
- Collaborate with system engineering teams for requirement analysis and software architecture definition.
- Ensure compliance with MISRA C, ISO 26262, and ASPICE development processes.
- Participate in defect analysis, root cause investigation, and software issue resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes and toolchains.

- 5+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development.
- Strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink Model-Based Development.
- Experience with automatic code generation tools such as:
- Embedded Coder
- TargetLink
- Strong programming skills in Embedded C.
- Good understanding of real-time embedded systems and microcontroller-based development.
