The Mobilizer will be responsible for identifying, mobilizing, counselling, and enrolling eligible candidates into various skilling and livelihood programs. The role involves conducting community outreach activities, building relationships with local stakeholders, creating awareness about training opportunities, and ensuring achievement of enrolment targets. The Mobilizer will act as the first point of contact for prospective beneficiaries and support them throughout the enrolment process.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute community mobilization activities to generate awareness about skilling and livelihood programs.
- Conduct door-to-door campaigns, community meetings, awareness drives, career guidance sessions, and promotional events.
- Build relationships with local communities, educational institutions, NGOs, community leaders, government agencies, and other stakeholders to generate quality candidate leads.
- Identify, counsel, and mobilize eligible youth as per project eligibility criteria.
- Explain course offerings, career opportunities, training benefits, certification, and placement support to prospective candidates and their families.
- Support candidates in completing the registration, documentation, and enrolment process while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
C. Beneficiary Engagement & Retention
- Maintain regular follow-up with enrolled candidates to ensure batch joining and continued participation.
- Coordinate with trainers, counsellors, and the Centre Head to address learner concerns and reduce dropouts.
- Support centre activities, orientation sessions, events, and awareness campaigns to improve learner engagement.
D. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain records of outreach activities, candidate leads, counselling sessions, enrolments, and follow-ups.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly mobilization reports and MIS as required.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, project guidelines, and documentation requirements.
3. Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in community mobilization, field outreach, sales, marketing, counselling, education, or skill development programs.
- Experience in CSR-funded skilling projects or livelihood initiatives will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of community engagement and beneficiary mobilization strategies.
- Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and work effectively in the field.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for data entry and reporting.
- Self‑motivated, target‑oriented, and willing to undertake extensive local travel.
