Job summary

Hyatt Centric Bengaluru Airport is seeking a creative Mixologist to elevate beverage experiences with signature cocktails inspired by local ingredients. You will lead bar artistry, educate teammates, and craft distinctive drinks that reflect a sense of place.

You will refine classics, develop seasonal menus, and deliver warm guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-energy environment within Hyatt Centric Bengaluru Airport. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mixologist or senior bartender.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails and beverage preparation.
• Creative approach to flavour, presentation and menu development.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Confident tastings, training and beverage storytelling.
• Sharp attention to detail and consistency.
• Understanding of stock control and beverage costs.
• Ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment.

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a creative, charismatic and highly skilled Mixologist to join Hyatt Centric Bengaluru Airport and help shape a beverage experience that feels fresh, local.

This role is for someone who sees the bar as a stage for craft, connection and discovery. Someone who understands that an exceptional cocktail begins with technique, but becomes memorable through personality, theatre and a genuine sense of place.

The opportunity

As Mixologist, you will create distinctive beverage experiences across Hyatt Centric Bengaluru Airport.

You will develop signature cocktails, champion local ingredients and bring curiosity to every serve. From refining classics to experimenting with unexpected flavours, you will help define the identity of our bars while inspiring both guests and colleagues.

You will also play an important role in beverage education, menu development and maintaining consistently high standards across service.

What you will do

• Create and serve classic, contemporary and signature cocktails to an exceptional standard.
• Develop seasonal beverage menus inspired by local produce, culture and the character of the Gold Coast.
• Experiment with ingredients, techniques, garnishes and presentation to create original and memorable drinks.
• Deliver warm, engaging and unscripted guest experiences.
• Share the story behind each drink with confidence and authenticity.
• Provide thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Support beverage tastings, activations, events and special experiences.
• Maintain strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages and emerging beverage trends.
• Mentor and support bartending colleagues through training, tastings and product education.
• Maintain an organised, clean and well-stocked bar.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, inventory and cost management.
• Ensure consistency in recipes, presentation and service standards.
• Follow responsible service of alcohol, food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Work closely with Food and Beverage leadership to identify new ideas and revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

You will bring:
