Job summary

UltraTech Cement is seeking a detail-oriented MIS analyst responsible for regular sales MIS reporting, data preparation, and variance analysis. You will prepare revenue, NCR realizations, and driver-based insights for budgeting and forecasting.

The role requires expertise in Power BI, Excel, SAP and TM1, with the ability to present complex data to senior leadership and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Regular Sales MIS reporting.
• Prepare monthly customer invoice level volume, gross sales, net sales and NCR realization.
• Monthly reconciliations of NCR with Trail balance.
• Prepare product-wise / area-wise / segment-wise contribution and variance analysis.
• Present data on sales volume performance, revenue trends and key metrics to seniors.
• Analyze sales trends, pricing impact, realization and discounts.
• Prepare presentations for Business Head/CEO reporting.
• Provide insight-driven analysis to support decision-making.
• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts and price/mix explanations.
• Prepare revenue and logistic cost data for budgets and revised forecasts.
• Coordinate with departments to collect budget data and consolidate.
• Prepare reports for quarterly business reviews and finance cell.

Supporting Actions

Regular Sales MIS reporting

• Prepare Monthly Customer Invoice level volume, gross sales, net sales and realization (NCR).
• Monthly Reconciliation of NCR with Trail balance – NCR Tally.
• Prepare Product-wise / sales area wise / segment wise contribution
• Prepare variance analysis against budget, forecast, and previous periods
• Present data related to sales volume performance, revenue trends, and other key metrics to seniors.
• Analyze sales trends, pricing impact, realization, discounts, and schemes.
• Prepare presentations for Business Head/CEO reporting
• Provide insight-driven analysis to support strategic and tactical decision‑making.

Reports for Business review meeting/ Corporate finance cell – Quarterly reports

• Prepare details for pre-decided volume and revenue formats
• Arrange 2 players’ market share
• Prepare Urban and Rural performance report
• Prepare trade and non-trade performance
• Prepare presentations

Budget and latest estimate working

• Prepare revenue and logistic cost as per given volume
• Assist in budgeting process across departments. Coordinate with department heads to collect and consolidate budget data.
• Support management in revised forecasts and rolling budgets.
• Identify and explain price, volume, mix.

Additional various data preparation

Sales and Marketing reports-

• Prepare related party transaction details based on revenue model
• Arrange requisite sales data for govt statistical department
• Calculate and Maintain inter unit good transfer rate
• Identify the lower contribution areas and report
• Timely incorporation of changes in schemes and price circulars in NCR as implemented by management
• Arrange revenue related data to auditors
• Support in tax assessment related data preparation
• Track actual performance against approved budgets on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Prepare supply and distributions reports to show logistic and depot effectiveness.
• Depot landing cost comparison for optimum plant supply allocation
• Work out imported cement contribution
• Provide ad-hoc analysis as required by leadership

Automated / BI report

• Improve reporting efficiency through Power BI, Excel automation, SAP reports, and analytical tools.
• Work with SAP/TM1 team on report automation
