Nextgen Business Support Services Pvt. Ltd. seeks an MIS and Stock Audit professional to manage MIS reporting, maintain inventory data, and conduct physical stock audits across locations.

The role involves identifying discrepancies, reconciling stock with ERP records, and delivering accurate reports to management. The candidate will travel regularly to warehouses, stores, and branches to verify stock, collaborate with multiple teams, and ensure precise documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in MIS, inventory, stock audit, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
• Willingness to travel for audit assignments is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
• Maintain and update Excel-based databases and operational records.
• Collect, verify, and analyze data from different departments.
• Prepare reports related to sales, purchases, inventory, stock movement, and operations.
• Identify data discrepancies and report them to the concerned department.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation.
• Conduct physical stock verification at warehouses, stores, branches, and other locations.
• Compare physical stock with system/ERP records.
• Identify shortages, excess stock, damaged goods, and other discrepancies.
• Verify inward and outward stock movements and supporting documents.
• Check stock registers, invoices, GRNs, delivery challans, and related documents.
• Prepare detailed stock audit and reconciliation reports.
• Conduct scheduled and surprise stock audits as required.
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchase, sales, and accounts teams for stock reconciliation.
• Report significant discrepancies and irregularities to management.

Job description

The purpose of this role is to manage MIS reporting, maintain accurate operational and inventory data, and conduct physical stock audits. The candidate will be responsible for identifying stock discrepancies, reconciling physical stock with system records, and providing accurate reports to management.

Key Responsibilities

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
  
• Maintain and update Excel-based databases and operational records.
  
• Collect, verify, and analyze data from different departments.
  
• Prepare reports related to sales, purchases, inventory, stock movement, and operations.
  
• Use Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, IFERROR, and Pivot Tables .
  
• Identify data discrepancies and report them to the concerned department.
  
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation.
  

Stock Audit & Inventory

• Conduct physical stock verification at warehouses, stores, branches, and other locations.
  
• Compare physical stock with system/ERP records.
  
• Identify shortages, excess stock, damaged goods, and other discrepancies.
  
• Verify inward and outward stock movements and supporting documents.

Mandatory Travel Requirement

• Travelling for stock audits is mandatory for this position.
  
• The candidate must be willing to travel regularly to warehouses, stores, branches, and other locations.
  
• Local as well as outstation travel may be required based on audit assignments.
  
• Candidates should be comfortable with frequent travel and working at different locations.
  

Required Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  
• 1–3 years of experience in MIS, inventory, stock audit, or a similar role.
  
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel .
  
• Knowledge of Tally/ERP or inventory management software is preferred.
  
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
