Job summary

Swan Corp in Mumbai is seeking a Finance leader to oversee management reporting, budgeting, and controls. You will drive consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports across business verticals, with emphasis on P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and KPI dashboards.

You will partner with controllers to lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans, challenging assumptions and identifying cost optimization opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the collection, consolidation and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports across all business verticals, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and KPI dashboards.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts and prior periods, identifying key drivers, trends and material variances.
• Provide clear, actionable insights and management commentary to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, completeness and transparency of financial information across management reports.
• Continuously improve MIS and reporting processes through automation, standardization and dashboard development to enhance efficiency and clarity.
• Guide Financial Controllers across business verticals in leading the annual budgeting process and developing realistic, business-aligned budgets.
• Prepare rolling forecasts and long-range financial plans in coordination with relevant business and finance stakeholders.
• Review and challenge key business assumptions and support initiatives focused on cost optimization and improved financial performance.
• Monitor budget utilization and adherence, identify deviations and support corrective actions where required.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate business opportunities, investments and strategic decisions.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, policies, processes and management reporting standards.
• Coordinate with accounting teams to ensure alignment between management reporting, financial accounting and statutory results.
• Support the implementation, enhancement and effective utilization of ERP, planning and reporting platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Adaptive and Anaplan.
• Drive standardization, process governance and best practices across MIS, budgeting and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities

A. Management Reporting & MIS
