Job summary

Tekskills in Hyderabad seeks a middleware engineer to manage Oracle WebLogic Server clusters and related SOA components. You will drive deployments, operational excellence, and lifecycle migrations within a critical OSS/BSS transformation program.

You will collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams, develop Ansible automation, and contribute to DR planning and execution during releases and major infra events.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle WebLogic and SOA based applications.
• Experience in migration, patching and upgrade scripting.
• Knowledge of DR setup and recovery procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Oracle WebLogic Server clusters for telecom-grade apps.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot SOA components, OSB, and J2EE apps.
• Execute environment migrations, patching, and upgrade scripts across lifecycle stages.
• Manage WebLogic components: JMS queues, Data Sources, JTA, threads, pools, log rotation, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for WebLogic deployments and environment configuration.
• Support cutover planning, go-live, and rollback procedures during releases and infra events.
• Collaborate with DevOps, application, and infra teams to ensure highly available middleware platforms.
• Participate in DR setup and testing across data centers.
• Create/update runbooks, deployment guides, and SOPs.

Job Summary

WebLogic / SOA / Automation. Shift: UK Shift. You will be part of a critical OSS + BSS Transformation Program focused on migrating and modernizing Oracle Communications applications (Siebel 24.x, BRM 12.x, UIM, ASAP, IPSA, ESB, API Gateway, DXP, CMS, BIP) from VMware to an OLVM-based data center, while also setting up a new Disaster Recovery (DR) site. The program spans the complete environment lifecycle: Development- UAT - Production.

Responsibilities
