Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru seeks a Middleware (WebSphere and JBoss) Admin with 4-11 years of experience to manage deployment, maintenance and performance of enterprise middleware stack.

You will work with Unix environments, Autosys, MQ and middleware tooling, performing deployments, node restarts, job promotions, and triage of issues, with familiarity of WebLogic/JBoss and related DevOps tools such as Jira, Jenkins, and Docker.

Qualifications

• Unix expertise and job scheduling tools; middleware experience preferred.
• Expertise in file transfer technologies for migration projects.
• Hands-on deployment of WebLogic JARs, restarting of nodes, Autosys JIL promotion/request, and MQ queue/channel management.
• Knowledge of JBOSS and middleware troubleshooting in WebLogic deployments.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jira, Jenkins, and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple priorities with effective time allocation and prioritization.
• Provide technical triage, support, and remediation within a larger environment.
• Analyze project/technical risk to support operational requirements and recommendations.
• Perform WebLogic deployments via CLI or console mode.
• Restart nodes, node managers and admin server as needed.
• Monitor Autosys jobs and handle related activities including force start, logs analysis, and promotions.

Role: Middleware (WebSphere and Jboss) Admin

Experience: 4-11 Years

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Primary Skills

• Strong knowledge on Unix and Job scheduling tool, preferably Middleware
• Expert on File transfer technology to work on migration projects
• Hands on experience on Deployments of WebLogic JAR files , restarting of nodes , Autosys JIL promotion /batch request, holding and releasing queue and channels in MQ
• Knowledge on JBOSS
• Troubleshooting and resolving deployment issues in WebLogic.
• Good to have Knowledge on JIRA , Jenkins, Docker and DevOps Tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical triage, support, and remediation skills as part of a larger environment .

• performing restart of nodes, node manager and admin server.
• monitoring and handling Autosys job related activities includes force start, troubleshooting and analyzing logs.
• Promoting autosys jobs and also be able to update/create variables in Autosys.
