Job summary

• Coordinate and execute rights-enforcement actions per SOPs.
• Track repeat offenders and piracy patterns.
• Escalate complex or high-priority cases to the Senior CMS Lead.
• Train and guide junior team members to improve monitoring quality.
• Maintain records of piracy cases, takedowns, and enforcement actions.
• Collaborate with the Senior CMS Lead to improve DRM operations.

About the Role

We are looking for Mid-Level Digital Rights Management (DRM) Managers to support the Senior CMS Lead in managing our digital rights and content-protection operations.

The role will involve managing junior Digital Rights Management (DRM) teams, monitoring online piracy, reviewing copyright and DRM cases, handling claims and takedowns, developing improved detection methods, and escalating complex issues to the Senior CMS Lead.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Digital Rights Management, copyright protection, piracy monitoring, and digital content enforcement, preferably within the entertainment or media industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of Junior DRM / Piracy Monitoring executives.
• Conduct and oversee daily piracy monitoring across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
• Identify unauthorised use, distribution, or reproduction of protected content.
• Review Digital Rights Management (DRM), copyright, claims, and takedown cases for accuracy and appropriate action.
• Coordinate and execute rights-enforcement actions in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs).
• Track repeat offenders and recurring piracy patterns.
• Review evidence and documentation submitted by the junior team.
• Identify gaps in existing detection and monitoring processes.
• Develop and suggest new methods of identifying unauthorised content and piracy.
• Monitor the effectiveness of existing detection and enforcement procedures.
• Handle day-to-day escalations from the junior team.
• Escalate complex or high-priority cases to the Senior Content Management System (CMS) Lead.
• Train, guide, and support junior team members to improve monitoring quality and efficiency.
• Conduct regular quality checks and ensure that team members follow established Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs).
• Maintain accurate records of piracy cases, claims, takedowns, repeat offenders, and enforcement actions.
• Work closely with the Senior Content Management System (CMS) Lead on improving overall Digital Rights Management (DRM) operations.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Digital Rights Management, content protection, copyright enforcement, piracy monitoring, or a related field.
• Prior experience in the entertainment, media, OTT, music, creator, or digital-content industry is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on understanding of Digital Rights Management (DRM), Content ID, copyright claims, takedowns, and rights enforcement.
• Experience monitoring content across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
• Experience managing or supervising a team of 5+ people, or demonstrated team-management experience.
• Primarily Monday to Friday; however, work may extend to weekends based on operational requirements, with additional working days compensated through Compensatory Leave (Comp-Off).
• Strong understanding of digital content and online piracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to review large volumes of cases.
• Ability to identify patterns and develop practical solutions to improve piracy detection.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or education in Copyright Law, Intellectual Property Law, Corporate Law, or a related legal field is a plus.
• Experience working with Content ID and rights-management platforms.
• Experience handling high-volume copyright claims and takedown workflows.
• Experience creating or improving SOPs and operational processes.
• Strong understanding of digital platforms and how content is distributed online.
