Job summary

Bristlecone is seeking a D365 Commerce Developer to lead end-to-end payment gateway integrations across Dynamics 365 Commerce channels, including POS and eCommerce. The role emphasizes secure, scalable processing with tokenization and settlement reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop payment integrations for D365 Commerce using CRT, SDK and POS extensions.
• Implement card-present and card-not-present payment flows including authorization, capture, refund, and void.
• Integrate external payment gateways for POS devices, hosted payment pages, and eCommerce checkout.
• Develop secure customer vault and tokenization solutions for card-on-file and recurring payments.
• Enable payment link generation and tracking for remote and assisted sales.
• Customize POS and Store Commerce extensions for device-based payment terminals.
• Implement batch and real-time settlement, reconciliation, and tender posting to Commerce and Finance.
• Ensure end-to-end transaction traceability, audit logging, and exception handling across channels.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate tender mapping and financial reconciliation.

Role Summary

Seeking a D365 Commerce Developer to lead the design and implementation of end-to-end payment gateway integrations across Dynamics 365 Commerce channels including POS (Store Commerce) and eCommerce. The role focuses on secure, scalable payment processing covering card-present, card-not-present, tokenized payments, payment links, and settlement reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop payment integrations for D365 Commerce using Commerce Runtime (CRT), Commerce SDK and POS extensions
• Implement card-present and card-not-present payment flows including authorization, capture, refund, and void
• Integrate external payment gateways for POS devices, hosted payment pages, and eCommerce checkout flows
• Develop secure customer vault and tokenization solutions for card-on-file and recurring payment scenarios
• Enable payment link generation and tracking for remote and assisted sales scenarios
• Customize POS and Store Commerce extensions to support device-based payment terminals
• Implement batch and real-time settlement, reconciliation, and tender posting to Commerce and Finance

Required Skills

• Strong experience with D365 Commerce architecture including CRT, Commerce SDK and POS extensions
• Experience integrating external RESTful and SOAP-based payment APIs
• Deep understanding of Commerce payment lifecycle: Authorization, Capture, Refund, Void, and Reversal
• Experience with tender management, channel configuration, and payment posting to D365 Finance
• Ability to design secure, high-availability payment solutions for omnichannel retail

Preferred

• Prior experience integrating payment gateways or processors with D365 Commerce (POS or eCommerce)
• Familiarity with Hardware Station and payment terminal integrations
• Understanding of PCI-DSS compliance, tokenization, encryption, and secure key management
