Job summary

Outpace Consulting Services seeks a D365 Commerce Technical Consultant to design, customize, and deploy MPOS/CPOS solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce. You will support POS environments across multiple retail stores and collaborate with Retail Operations and technical teams.

The candidate should have 5+ years of MPOS/ePOS development, strong CRT, Retail SDK, Retail Server, and programming skills in X++, C#, and TypeScript.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of MPOS/ePOS development experience.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce MPOS/CPOS.
• Proficient in Commerce Runtime (CRT), Retail SDK and extensibility framework.
• Experience supporting live POS environments and integrating payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce MPOS/CPOS solutions to meet business requirements.
• Provide production support for POS systems across multiple retail store locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve payment processing, POS functionality, deployment, and application issues.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations, business stakeholders, and technical teams to resolve production incidents.
• Plan, support, and execute POS deployments, upgrades, rollouts, and system releases.
• Hands-on experience with Retail Server and Hardware Station.
• Strong programming skills in X++, C#, and TypeScript.
• Design and develop integrations with payment gateways and third-party applications.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development, sprint planning, testing, code reviews, and release management.
• Monitor and ensure availability, stability, performance, and uptime of retail POS environments.
• Perform RCA, implement fixes, and drive continuous improvements for POS applications.
• Ensure compliance with development standards, security policies, and deployment best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and support knowledge articles.
