Job summary

Ssra Co on the NIFTEM campus in Kundli is building a new lab and retort line to produce plant-based gelato, kulfi, popsicles and bakery items. We need a hands-on lab professional to work with our Quality Lead in setting up and operating the lab.

The role involves microbiological testing, physical and chemical tests on materials and finished products, plus retort checks and instrument calibration. Relocation to Sonipat/North Delhi area is expected.

Qualifications

• 14 years of hands-on lab work in a food, dairy, ice cream or retort plant.
• Performs microbiological tests by hand, not only reads reports.
• Lives in or willing to move to Sonipat / North Delhi.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing including media prep, TPC, yeast and mould, coliform, and environmental swabs.
• Conduct chemical and physical tests on raw material, mix and finished goods (pH, Brix, fat, overrun).
• Carry out retort incubation checks, seal and vacuum checks on pouches and cans.
• Calibrate and maintain lab instruments; keep test records.
