Job summary

Revolutionary Groups is seeking a skilled Service Mechanic/Technician to join our service team in Bengaluru, with hands-on experience in material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will handle inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of MHE at customer sites, including forklifts and pallet trucks.

Travel to customer locations will be required. 1+ year of relevant experience is preferred, with basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in MHE servicing, automobile servicing, industrial equipment, or a related mechanical field.
• Candidates with previous experience working on forklifts, pallet trucks, stackers, reach trucks, or warehouse equipment will be preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Good practical and hands-on mechanical skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations for service calls.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a service team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of MHE equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and operational issues.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance at customer locations.
• Service and repair equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, stackers, and other MHE.
• Identify faulty components and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Attend customer service calls and ensure timely resolution of complaints.
• Maintain service reports, job cards, and equipment maintenance records.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager and internal team regarding spare parts and repairs.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards.
• Provide basic technical guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites when required.
