Job summary

FLSmidth in India, Haryana (Rewari) is seeking a Fabrication Technician responsible for manufacturing and assembling metal components according to drawings and specifications. You will operate fabrication equipment, perform welding and cutting tasks, and uphold safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

Key duties include reading drawings, cutting, welding, grinding, drilling and bending; using tools like Vernier caliper and micrometer; maintaining records and assisting process

Qualifications

• ITI in Mechanical, Fabrication, Welding, or related field.
• 2–5 years of fabrication/manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Perform cutting, welding, grinding, drilling, and bending.
• Operate fabrication machinery such as shears, press brakes, CNC, plasma/laser cutters.
• Measure and mark materials to ensure accuracy and proper alignment.
• Assemble fabricated parts and structures as per specifications.
• Inspect finished workpieces for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
• Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues and process improvements.
• Maintain production and inspection records.

• Operate machinery (e.g., shearing machines, press brakes, CNC machines, plasma/laser cutters)
• Measure and mark materials to ensure accuracy and proper alignment
• Assemble fabricated parts and structures as per specifications
• Inspect finished workpieces for defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Required Qualifications

• ITI in Mechanical, Fabrication, Welding, or related field
