Job summary

Razorleaf International seeks an MES Technical Consultant based in Pune, India to support Solumina / MES implementation, integration and delivery for complex manufacturing customers.

The ideal candidate combines MES (Solumina, MOM, shop-floor) with Dassault MES exposure, and can function across configuration, data, integrations, customization, testing and customer-facing support.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in software development, technical consulting, MES delivery or a closely related environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Technical Consultant on MES / Solumina projects, supporting configuration, customization, integrations, data migration and deployment activities.
• Work with the project team to translate user stories into technical configuration, interface logic, data requirements and deployable solutions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, client partners and project managers to estimate requirements, plan activities, prioritize work and execute assigned tasks.
• Work with customer IT teams to map, load, transform and validate data, ensuring the required information is correctly populated in Solumina / MES.
• Design, implement and validate integrations between MES and customer business systems, including ERP, PLM and adjacent digital manufacturing applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including interface specifications, data mapping, configuration notes, deployment steps and validation evidence.
• Support and educate customers on user interface behavior, integration flows and technical usage of the Solumina / MES application.
• Deploy and validate custom requirements based on approved user stories, ensuring alignment with project scope and acceptance criteria.
• Perform peer code reviews and contribute to coding, configuration and integration standards.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across database, application, integration and UI layers during build, test, UAT, go-live and hypercare.
• Support Customer Care and delivery teams with complex customer requirements and production issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and bring MES project lessons learned into reusable delivery practices, accelerators and product innovation.
• Operate as a flexible "Swiss knife" profile: able to support configuration, code, data, testing, documentation and customer-facing problem solving as project needs evolve.

We are looking for a versatile MES Technical Consultant based in India to support Solumina / MES implementation, integration, configuration and technical delivery for complex manufacturing customers.

The ideal candidate has built their career at the intersection of Solumina and Dassault MES. Two profiles fit equally well: a consultant whose primary background is MES (Solumina, MOM, shop-floor systems) and who has been meaningfully exposed to the Dassault Systèmes ecosystem, or a consultant whose primary background in Dassault Systèmes MES. In short, Solumina MES as a major and Dassault MES as a minor - or the other way around -both work for us.

The ideal candidate is a technical "Swiss knife": comfortable moving between configuration, data, integrations, custom development, troubleshooting, documentation, testing and customer-facing support. They will work closely with functional consultants, project teams and customer IT teams to transform user stories into robust, validated solutions across the MES / Digital Thread landscape.

Main Responsibilities:

Key Skills and Attributes:

• MES expertise: hands-on experience working on MES, MOM, shop-floor systems, Solumina or equivalent manufacturing execution platforms- whether as a primary specialism or as a strong complementary track to a PLM career.
• Web UI: knowledge of React.js, Redux and modern frontend development.
• Data and integration: solid understanding of database concepts, integration design, interface mapping, data transformation and validation, and development of extensions/plugins
• Manufacturing mindset: familiarity with complex manufacturing processes and the ability to understand operational constraints on the shop floor.
• Consulting posture: customer-facing, structured, pragmatic and able to explain technical topics clearly to IT, business and project stakeholders, ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Problem solving: strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills across application, database, integration and UI layers.
• Communication: effective written and spoken English, with strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Agile delivery: practitioner of Agile software development and comfortable working in iterative project environments.
• Leadership and influence: able to guide developers and stakeholders, build consensus and keep teams aligned to shared goals.
• Mindset: curious, autonomous, hands-on, growth-oriented and comfortable evolving quickly in an international PLM / MES ecosystem.

Required Education / Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in software development, technical consulting, MES delivery or a closely related environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Computing and Information Technologies, or equivalent experience.
• Based in Pune (Maharashtra), India and able to collaborate effectively with international teams across time zones.
