Responsibilities

Position Summary

Lead the technical support and coordination efforts for MES systems at the SMT and FATP lines. Responsible for gathering requirements, liaising with vendors, managing system developments and deployments, conducting training, and leading the support team. Ensure alignment of system functionality with business and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, engineering, quality, operations, and production support teams to understand traceability and system requirements.
• Identify technical solutions and collaborate with vendors to finalize system specifications and enhancements.
• Drive development and deployment activities, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Manage change requests, obtain approvals, and track implementation progress.
• Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), create test cases, and ensure defect resolution.
• Conduct user training sessions and prepare manuals and documentation.
• Lead and mentor L1 support team, allocate tasks, and provide technical guidance.
• Facilitate team development through trainings and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Organize and conduct weekly review meetings with internal teams and vendors to discuss project status, risks, and resource availability.
• Act as escalation point for complex issues and work closely with vendors to resolve system defects or performance problems.
• Ensure effective communication and handover between shifts and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, IT, Computer Science) or related discipline.
• 4-10 years of experience in WMS/MES support or manufacturing IT systems, preferably in mobile phone or electronics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially SMT and FATP.
• Experience working with vendors and managing software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management.
• Proficient in requirement gathering, technical documentation, and system testing.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team, manage multiple priorities, and work under tight timelines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with production floor operations and traceability requirements is a plus.
