Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced MERN / MEAN Stack Lead with 8+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-grade web applications within the Insurance and Banking domain. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, guide development teams, drive architecture decisions, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

The candidate is expected to actively leverage Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and Generative AI (GenAI) tools to accelerate engineering delivery, improve code quality, enhance developer productivity, and drive innovation across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) or MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) stack.
• Define and implement scalable application architectures, development standards, and best practices.
• Lead a team of developers through technical mentoring, code reviews, and solution design discussions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and develop secure REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
• Ensure compliance with banking and insurance security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive Agile delivery practices and oversee sprint planning, estimations, and technical execution.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement performance optimization strategies.
• Champion the adoption of AI-assisted development practices using Copilot and GenAI tools.
• Contribute to DevOps initiatives, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native application development.

Required Technical Skills
