Job summary

Weavetex India, based in Delhi NCR, is seeking a hands-on Merchandiser / Sampling Coordinator to manage sampling end-to-end and drive new collection development. The role focuses on coordinating samples with production, developing market-aligned collections, and supporting R&D for textures and finishes.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience in home textiles, with strong fabric knowledge and deadline-driven coordination.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on home textile merchandising or sampling coordination.
• Strong understanding of fabric construction, GSM, and finishing processes.
• Deadline-driven with excellent coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Merchandiser / Sampling Coordinator to manage our sampling process end-to-end and drive new collection development.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and arrange all samples strictly within deadlines, liaising with production/vendors
• Develop new collections in line with market trends and buyer requirements
• Support R&D initiatives — new textures, weaves, finishes, and product ideas
• Track sample status, follow up with internal teams and factories to avoid delays
• Maintain sample library and documentation for buyer reference
• Coordinate closely with the sales team to align samples with buyer meetings/trade shows

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience, strictly from a Home Textile background (Cushions/Throws/Rugs/Curtains/Bedspreads or similar)
• Strong understanding of fabric construction, GSM, and finishing processes
• Excellent coordination and follow-up skills — deadline-driven mindset
• Creative eye for product development and collection building
• Ability to multitask across multiple buyers/collections simultaneously
