Job summary

MIT VGS, Kothrud Pune is hiring an experienced MEP Manager / Senior MEP Engineer (Electrical) to handle design and execution of MEP works, with a strong focus on electrical systems for institutional / campus buildings.

You will lead design reviews, manage MEP coordination across Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting, review drawings, BOQs, specs, and shop drawings, and oversee HT/LT systems, power distribution and lighting, ensuring NBC, IS codes and local authority compliance.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
• 10+ years experience in design and execution of electrical works for buildings.
• Institutional / campus projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design review and execution of electrical works for buildings.
• Manage MEP coordination (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting).
• Review electrical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Oversee HT/LT systems, power distribution, lighting, earthing & lightning protection.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, civil teams, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with NBC, IS codes, fire norms and local authorities.
• Monitor quality, safety, timelines, and billing certifications.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover.
