Job summary

MEIL in Mumbai is seeking an experienced MEP Incharge to supervise daily MEP installation activities at the underground Highspeed Rail Station. You will coordinate with civil, architectural, and other engineering teams to ensure project execution aligns with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

The role requires a BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 15+ years of experience, preferably with underground metro projects.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in MEP roles, preferably in underground metro projects.
• Experience supervising MEP installation at underground stations and tunnels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily MEP installation activities at the underground station and tunnel.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed according to the project schedule.
• Ensure all MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements at the worksite.
• Manage subcontractors, labor, materials, and equipment for efficient project execution.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and participate in coordination meetings.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and inspection of MEP systems before handover.
• Maintain project documentation, including inspection records, as-built drawings, and handover documents.
