Job summary

Even Hospital is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join our Engineering & Facilities team in Bangalore. You will oversee HVAC systems (AHUs, FCUs, Chillers), electrical panels, plumbing, and fire safety, ensuring reliable operation in a hospital environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–6 years in MEP/HVAC and facility maintenance, with hospital or large campus experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and compliance with NABH standards are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in MEP/HVAC and facility maintenance.
• Hospital engineering experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates from hospitals, IT parks, hotels, malls, commercial buildings or facility management are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, Chillers, VRF/VRV systems, and vents.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of MEP systems.
• Monitor electrical systems including LT panels, DG sets, UPS, transformers, and lighting.
• Oversee plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, STP/WTP, and utility services.
• Ensure fire alarm, fighting, hydrant, and sprinkler systems function properly.
• Coordinate with AMC vendors and ensure timely maintenance activities.
• Maintain engineering logs, equipment records, and statutory documentation.
• Ensure NABH standards and safety SOPs compliance.

Overview

Even Hospital is looking for an experienced MEP Engineer to join our Engineering & Facilities team. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, utilities, preventive maintenance, and fire safety systems. Candidates with hospital experience will be given first preference. Candidates from large IT companies, hotels, shopping malls, commercial buildings or facility management organizations with relevant MEP experience are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, Chillers, VRF/VRV systems, and ventilation units.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of MEP systems.
• Monitor electrical systems including LT panels, DG sets, UPS, transformers, and lighting systems.
• Oversee plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, STP/WTP, and utility services.
• Ensure smooth functioning of fire alarm, fire fighting, hydrant, and sprinkler systems.
• Coordinate with AMC vendors and ensure timely maintenance activities.
• Maintain engineering logs, equipment records, and statutory documentation.
• Ensure compliance with NABH standards, engineering SOPs, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Biomedical, Housekeeping, and Clinical teams for engineering support.

Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 2–6 years of experience in MEP/HVAC and facility maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital engineering experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates from hospitals, IT parks, hotels, shopping malls, commercial buildings, or facility management companies are welcome to apply.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems, and preventive maintenance.
• Good communication, troubleshooting, and vendor management skills.
