Job summary

Indira Ivf Hospital is seeking an experienced Healthcare Infrastructure Project Manager to lead end-to-end center setup initiatives, coordinating with architects, biomedical teams, IT, and vendors. The role oversees MEP design, hospital infrastructure integration, and management of HVAC, MGPS, and electrical systems across IVF labs and critical care areas.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in Healthcare Infrastructure, Hospital Projects, IVF Centers, Critical Care Facilities, MEP Project Management, Multi-site Expansion Projects.
• Experience coordinating with Operations, Clinical, Biomedical, IT, Procurement, and Facility teams.
• Knowledge of NABH guidelines and fire safety norms.
• Ability to supervise HVAC, electrical, MGPS, plumbing, and utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of new center setup projects from handover to readiness.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, and implementation plans to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, biomedical teams, and vendors.
• Ensure projects delivered within timelines, budgets, quality, and safety standards.
• Review MEP layouts, submittals, load calculations, and engineering specifications.
• Identify and resolve design clashes and construction issues.
• Supervise installation and commissioning of HVAC systems for OT, IVF labs, ICUs, and other areas.
• Ensure compliance with temperature, humidity, air quality, pressure differentials, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate positive/negative pressure environments where applicable.
• Monitor environmental controls across critical zones.
• Oversee HT/LT electrical distribution, transformers, switchgear, and power infra.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply through DG sets, UPS, and redundancy.
• Manage MGPS design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate plumbing, drainage, water supply, and utility infrastructure.
• Support site expansion feasibility, planning, and multi-team coordination.
• Monitor multiple projects and provide status updates.
• Manage contractor/vendor relationships and contract management.
• Assist in cost control, procurement, and expenditure verification.

Role & responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Project Execution

• Manage end-to-end execution of new center setup projects from site handover to operational readiness.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, and implementation plans to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, biomedical teams, and vendors for seamless project execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines, budgets, quality, and safety standards.

MEP Design & Integration

• Plan and coordinate HVAC, Electrical, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Medical Gas systems with overall building design.
• Review MEP layouts, shop drawings, technical submittals, load calculations, and engineering specifications.
• Identify and resolve design clashes and construction issues before and during project execution.
• Ensure integration of MEP services with hospital infrastructure and clinical requirements.

Critical Healthcare Infrastructure Management

• Supervise installation and commissioning of HVAC systems for Operation Theatres, IVF Labs, ICUs, and other critical healthcare areas.
• Ensure compliance with temperature, humidity, air quality, pressure differential, HEPA filtration, and ventilation requirements.
• Coordinate implementation of positive and negative pressure environments wherever applicable.
• Monitor environmental controls across all critical and sensitive medical zones.

Electrical & Power Management

• Oversee HT/LT electrical distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, and power infrastructure.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply through DG sets, UPS systems, and redundancy mechanisms for critical healthcare operations.
• Manage medical isolation power systems, earthing, lightning protection, and Building Management System (BMS) integration.
• Support energy-efficient infrastructure planning and execution.

Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS)

• Coordinate design, installation, testing, and commissioning of Medical Gas Pipeline Systems.
• Ensure proper routing and compliance for oxygen, vacuum, medical air, and other gas systems.
• Monitor statutory and safety requirements related to MGPS infrastructure.

Hospital Plumbing & Utility Systems

• Manage plumbing, drainage, water supply, and utility infrastructure for healthcare facilities.
• Ensure infection-control measures in drainage systems and adherence to healthcare facility standards.
• Supervise installation of specialized water systems wherever required.

Expansion & Infrastructure Development

• Support site identification, feasibility assessment, and infrastructure planning for new center expansion.
• Coordinate with Operations, Clinical, Biomedical, IT, Procurement, and Facility teams for project requirements.
• Monitor multiple projects simultaneously and provide periodic status updates to management.

Vendor, Contractor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, interior vendors, MEP partners, and service providers.
• Conduct vendor performance evaluations and ensure compliance with contractual commitments.
• Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Resolve project-related technical and operational issues in a timely manner.

Cost Control & Procurement Management

• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and resource plans.
• Monitor project expenditures and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Verify contractor billing, material procurement, work orders, and project-related expenses.
• Participate in vendor negotiations and contract management activities.

Quality Assurance, Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company standards, healthcare regulations, statutory requirements, fire safety norms, and NABH guidelines.
• Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and progress reviews.
• Monitor adherence to safety policies and risk mitigation measures.
• Coordinate final testing, commissioning, snag closure, and project handover.

Preferred candidate profile

10-15 years of experience in Healthcare Infrastructure, Hospital Projects, IVF Centers, Critical Care Facilities, MEP Project Management, Multi-site Expansion Projects, or Healthcare Construction Projects.
