Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 20+ years in MEP consultancy to lead in-house design deliverables for diverse projects, from residential to data centres. You will drive FEED, project engineering, and procurement strategies, ensuring adherence to global standards.

You will coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, perform value engineering, and oversee tendering, CCDs, and site quality audits, while applying ESG considerations in design decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in mechanical engineering with 20+ years of experience in MEP consultancy.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC, PHE, and fire fighting design calculations.
• Familiarity with ECBC, NBC, ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, IS, CIBSE, LEED.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to coordinate with electrical/ELV teams.

• Familiar with MEP Design, capable of handling in-house design deliverables for Residential, Commercial, Mall, Hotel, Data Centre developments.

• Conversant with HVAC, PHE & Fire Fighting Design calculations viz: Load estimation, Equipment sizing etc.
• Familiar with ECBC, NBC guidelines, ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, IS, CIBSE, BSRIA, LEED requirements
• Awareness about Mechanical execution at project site.

• Experienced with HAP (Hourly Analysis Program).
• Expertise in hydraulic water and air calculations.
