Job summary

Zyeta is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer / Design Manager to lead our Design & Build team in Bengaluru. You will shape electrical systems design, mentor engineers, and drive design reviews, optimization, and quality controls to meet demanding timelines.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience in office fit-out, data centers, and high‑tech labs, with a proven ability to steer projects, coordinate across disciplines, and elevate engineering standards and delivery maturity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in Electrical Design Engineering.
• Experience with Commercial Office Fit-out, semiconductor labs and data centers.
• Experience in fast-paced Design & Build environments with demanding timelines.
• Strong ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving.
• Proven ability to drive design optimization and efficient implementation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership within the engineering team to strengthen systems and improve delivery standards.
• Drive design optimization, value engineering, and technically efficient solutions.
• Lead project costing, buildability assessments, and practical implementation.
• Ensure design reviews, validation, and high-quality engineering submissions.
• Mentor junior engineers and design teams; guide engineering culture.
• Act as technical anchor and driving force for project delivery; own problems.
