Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Design Development: Develop detailed designs for respective systems (Electrical, ELV, HVAC, PHE & FF) including layouts, schematics, calculations, and equipment selection. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, operational efficiency, and energy performance.

• Technical Documentation: Prepare and review design documents such as BOQs, technical submittals, equipment specifications, and material requisitions. Create and maintain design checklists, ensuring completeness and compliance.

• Coordination and Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, structural teams, and other MEP disciplines to ensure seamless integration of designs. Address technical queries from internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.

Knowledge and Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in designing respective MEP systems (Electrical, ELV, HVAC, or PHE & FF) for commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficient understanding of respective system design principles, codes, and standards.
• Familiarity with coordination workflows across MEP and architectural disciplines.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in CAD and Navisworks for design and drafting.
• Knowledge of ETAP and Revit MEP preferred.
• Skilled in design calculations and software tools relevant to respective systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize designs and resolve technical challenges.
