Job description

We are looking for an experienced MEP Manager – Design & Coordination to lead and manage the electrical systems for high‑rise real‑estate towers. The successful candidate will ensure the planning, design, execution, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, coordinating with other disciplines to deliver high‑quality, code‑compliant projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Design Review & Coordination: Review electrical system designs including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, emergency systems, grounding, and lightning protection; coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines; evaluate design drawings and BOQs for accuracy and completeness.
• Site Execution & Supervision: Oversee on‑site installation of electrical systems including MV/LV panels, cabling, lighting, backup power systems (generators/UPS), etc.; monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and safety standards; conduct inspections, site walks, and quality checks for electrical installations.
• Project Management: Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring the execution of electrical works in line with project timelines; coordinate with procurement teams for material selection and technical submittal approvals; support testing, commissioning, and handover processes of electrical systems.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all works comply with applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards (IEC, NEC, DEWA, or local authority regulations); prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, progress updates, and punch lists.
• Technical Support: Resolve site‑based technical issues and respond to RFIs related to electrical works; collaborate with consultants, local authorities, and utility providers for necessary permits and inspections.
