Nirmaan Company is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior MEP Designer to join our Bengaluru office. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MEP design for commercial projects, advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, and proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams. This role requires technical excellence, design coordination capabilities, and leadership skills to manage Electrical, ELV, and HVAC design teams throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Electrical, ELV, and HVAC Designers, ensuring timely and high-quality project deliverables.
• Develop and review detailed MEP design drawings, layouts, and construction documentation.
• Prepare HVAC, Electrical, ELV, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting system drawings using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Conduct design reviews, clash resolution meetings, and interdisciplinary coordination sessions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and drafters.
• Support project execution teams with design clarifications and engineering solutions.
• Review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction documentation.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure design deliverables are completed within deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement in design quality, productivity, and standardization.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEP design, with significant exposure to commercial building projects.
• Mandatory expertise in AutoCAD.
• Proven experience in commercial developments such as office buildings, IT parks, retail spaces, hospitals, hotels, and mixed-use projects.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and coordinating teams of Electrical, ELV, and HVAC designers.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, design standards, and coordination processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
