Job summary

Neuberg Diagnostics in Mumbai is seeking a detail-oriented medical transcription colleague to convert doctors' notes into the medical database and retrieve records on request. You will ensure data integrity and maintain strict confidentiality of all medical information.

The role requires immediate joining and prior experience in transcribing written notes. You will handle routine updates, verify data accuracy, and support medical staff with documentation tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe medical notes into the software.
• Retrieve data from the system on request by authorized personnel.
• Report or correct discrepancies in source documents or the database.
• Attend telephone calls from doctors and patients requesting report updates.
• Maintain accuracy by double-checking source documents or the database.
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all medical records.
• File and store office records as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the reporting manager and consultants.

Role & responsibilities

1. 1. Transcribe medical information from doctors notes in to the software (medical database).
2. 2. Retrieve medical data from the system on request from authorized personnel.
3. 3. Report or correct any discrepancies evident in the source document or the database.
4. 4. Attend telephone calls from doctors and patients requesting for report updates.
5. 5. Maintaining accuracy of entered data by checking and rechecking source document or the database.
6. 6. To maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all the medical records (no information will be shared or discussed without prior permission of the Doctor and the Reporting Manager).
7. 7. File and store office records as needed.
8. 8. Any other duties assigned by the reporting manager and consultants.
