Job summary

Suraksha Diagnostics in India seeks a trained professional to type medical reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records for physician review. The role involves selecting relevant information, resolving terminology inconsistencies, and supporting data entry workflows to maintain patient records.

You'll produce and return dictated reports in printed or electronic form, to be reviewed by physicians for corrections and inclusion in patient medical records, collaborating with medical staff

• Decide which information should be included or excluded in reports.
• Distinguish between homonyms, and recognize inconsistencies and mistakes in medical terms, referring to dictionaries, drug references, and other sources on anatomy, physiology, and medicine.
• Identify mistakes in reports, and check with doctors to obtain the correct information.
• Perform data entry and data retrieval services, providing data for inclusion in medical records and for transmission to physicians.
• Produce medical reports, correspondence, records and patient-care information.
• Return dictated reports in printed or electronic form for physicians' review, signature, and corrections, and for inclusion in patients' medical records.
