Job summary

Punarjan Ayurveda invites applications for a Front-line MLT/Phlebotomy technician to join our diagnostic lab in Hyderabad. The role emphasizes sample collection, processing and instrument operation across multiple analysers, with focus on patient comfort.

This position requires 3–5 years in diagnostic labs or hospital settings, a Diploma or B.Sc. in MLT, and familiarity with Mindray analysers or similar platforms. High patient interaction and strict Q.C. practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from a recognized institute.
• 3–5 years of experience in diagnostic labs and hospitals exposure.
• Prior hands-on experience with Mindray analysers or equivalent automated platforms preferred.
• Comfortable with high patient-interaction volume (wellness camps, walk-ins).
• Male and Female with diagnostic lab and hospitals experience preferable for this position.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy and sample collection (single-draw consolidation per protocol - EDTA + serum tubes)
• Sample accessioning, labelling, and barcode matching to requisition package codes
• Operate and run daily QC on BC-720, BS-240E, and CL-900i per batch schedule
• Segregate and schedule fasting vs. non-fasting samples per protocol timing
• Flag critical values per established thresholds and route to pathologist immediately
• Maintain sample storage, cold-chain, and biomedical waste disposal per protocol
• Log instrument maintenance, reagent inventory, and calibration records

Role Summary

Front-line technician responsible for sample collection, processing, and instrument operation across all three analysers. Offering a female MLT on staff gives female patients the option of a same-gender phlebotomist, which is standard practice for patient comfort in many Indian labs.

Key Responsibilities
