Job summary

Nextenti Tech in Hyderabad invites applications for a Lab Technician role. You will collect and process clinical samples, perform tests across hematology, biochemistry, and microbiology, and ensure accurate reporting.

The candidate should have DMLT or BSc MLT or equivalent; freshers welcome. You will operate lab equipment, follow QC/QA procedures, maintain records, and coordinate with doctors and nurses.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label, and process blood, urine, and other clinical samples.
• Perform laboratory tests as per standard procedures and protocols.
• Conduct tests in hematology, biochemistry, clinical pathology, and microbiology.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Ensure accurate testing, documentation, and timely reporting of results.
• Follow quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Maintain proper records of samples, test results, reagents, and laboratory reports.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of samples and reagents.
• Follow infection control, laboratory safety, and biomedical waste guidelines.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the laboratory.
• Handle patient queries professionally and ensure proper patient identification before sample collection.
