The Head — University Medical Centre provides overall leadership and operational oversight of the University Medical Centre, ensuring timely, accessible, coordinated and student-focused healthcare services. The role is directly accountable to the Executive Director — Student Affairs & Administration and is responsible for leading, coordinating and monitoring the complete Medical Centre team, including medical, nursing, administrative and support personnel.
MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
Valid registration with the applicable Medical Council / National Medical Commission framework.
Postgraduate qualification in a relevant medical discipline, Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management or Public Health would be desirable.
Relevant experience in hospital administration, institutional healthcare, campus healthcare, emergency services or medical centre management.
Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary medical and nursing teams.
Experience in coordinating with hospitals, clinics and healthcare service providers would be desirable.
Timely availability and responsiveness of medical assistance to students.
Effectiveness of emergency response, escalation and referral systems.
Operational efficiency and service quality of the University Medical Centre.
Effective deployment, attendance and performance monitoring of Medical Centre manpower.
Availability and readiness of essential medicines, equipment and emergency resources.
Effectiveness of hospital and healthcare partner coordination.
Timely follow-up and closure of referred or critical medical cases.
Student satisfaction and resolution of healthcare-related concerns.
Compliance with institutional healthcare, safety and infection-control protocols.
